About LoanVault MFI

LoanVault MFI is a complete digital operating system for community-based finance. It replaces the spreadsheets, group chats, and paper ledgers that Chamas, self-help groups, SACCOs, and microfinance institutions rely on today with a single, auditable platform. Treasurers can register members, record monthly savings and welfare contributions, and reconcile mobile-money statements automatically, while members track their own balances, statements, and guarantor requests from a self-service portal.

The app supports all three standard Chama models. Rotating savings groups (Merry-Go-Round) manage a fixed payout roster and receive each round in turn. Accumulating savings and credit associations pool capital, lend to members at governed interest rates, hold guarantor savings as security, and distribute year-end dividends. Investment groups buy and hold assets such as land, property, bonds, or businesses, with member voting and income distribution built in.

LoanVault is built for the people who run these groups day to day: chairpersons, treasurers, and secretaries who need accurate books and clear approvals, and the members who deserve transparent, always-available access to their own money. It works across currencies and payment rails, from M-Pesa to Stripe and bank transfers, so a group can operate the same way in Nairobi or New York.

LoanVault MFI is designed and built by Kagiko & Associates, a fintech software studio focused on financial inclusion for community finance institutions.
